Uncharted Academy

Our History

Uncharted Academy was founded by a team of teachers who wanted more and a homeschool parent of students with unique learning needs, who are passionate about creating a safe, supportive learning environment. Born from personal journeys of discovering the best ways to help children thrive, Uncharted Academy uses an immersive and multisensory approach such as Orton-Gillingham to empower students. Today, the Academy continues to grow, providing specialized education that nurtures academic, social, and emotional success for all students.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide an inclusive, nurturing environment where students with unique learning needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are dedicated to using innovative, multisensory approaches like Orton-Gillingham and project-based learning to meet each student's individual needs. By fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning, we aim to empower students to reach their full potential and prepare them for success in both school and life.

Research-Based Instruction That Works
Uncharted Academy integrates the Orton-Gillingham approach, a structured, multisensory, and evidence-based method proven effective for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences—supporting strong foundations in reading, writing, and literacy.

Learning Without Walls
Uncharted Academy is intentionally designed for neurodiverse learners and students with diverse learning profiles—including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism—who do not thrive in a traditional one-size-fits-all model. Through flexible, personalized learning pathways and project-based learning experiences, we meet students where they are and deliver instruction that honors how each individual learns best, empowering them to grow with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Small Class Sizes. Meaningful Impact
With intentionally small class sizes, students benefit from individualized attention, stronger teacher-student relationships, and targeted academic support—creating an environment where confidence grows and progress is measurable.
